"One of three Paintings that were created as winter shifts into spring, inspired by a gentle walk at Goblin Combe in Somerset. Initially I was drawn to this scene because of the tree's exposed roots, a little glimpse into how this beautiful natural structure grounds itself. Painting this in a semi-abstract style has allowed me to be quite playful with colour and form. " - LBetts
